Where does my client data go?
Nowhere. The whole tool runs in your browser and there is no server to send it to. Your draft is kept in your own browser storage so a refresh does not lose it, and clearing it removes it. That is the reason there is no account: an account would mean a database, and a database would mean your client list and your rates sitting on somebody else’s machine.
How do I get a PDF?
Press Download PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog your browser opens. Every modern browser has a very good PDF writer built in, and using it means we do not ship a 300KB library to produce a worse-looking document.
Is there a watermark or a limit?
No watermark, no limit, no trial. The invoice is yours and there is nothing on it that is ours.
What should the payment terms be?
Fourteen days is the usual default for a small business and is what this fills in. Thirty is common with larger companies and worth quoting for explicitly. Whatever you pick, put it on the invoice — an invoice without a due date is an invitation to pay whenever.
